Accommodations
We have a room block at the Appellation Healdsburg. You can reserve rooms at this link, or by using Group Code 49041 at checkout. While we currently have a limited number of rooms available, we have the option to expand our block if there is sufficient demand. If you have any issues with booking, please contact us!
If (for whatever reason), the Appellation is not fancy enough for you, The Montage Healdsburg is right across the street.
If you are looking for more options, there are many AirBnBs in the area. If AirBnB isn’t your speed, we would recommend looking in nearby Santa Rosa, where there is significantly more variety.
Travel
If you are joining us from Northern California, congratulations! You probably own a car, or at least have been someplace where Uber isn’t that reliable. We trust that you will be responsible with your travel decisions.
If you are coming from further afield, we would recommend either renting a car, or reserving transportation to and from events in advance. As for air travel, there are a few airports you can fly into:
- Charles M. Schultz-Sonoma County Airport is a little under 10 miles from Healdsburg, or a 10-15 minute drive. Since it’s a very small regional airport, flight options can be more limited. We also recommend booking any Taxi or Rideshare services in advance of your arrival.
- San Francisco International Airport is about 80 miles from Healdsburg, or a 1.5-2hr drive depending on traffic. We personally think of SFO as “the United airport.”
- Oakland International Airport is also about 80 miles from Healdsburg. Similar driving times apply as to SFO. We personally consider OAK to be “the Southwest Airlines airport.”
- Sacramento International Airport is about 115 miles from Healdsburg, or a roughly two hour drive. If you don’t get carsick, the route to Healdsburg that takes you by Lake Berryessa is very scenic. SMF is nice to fly into if you get stressed out at airports.
do not f*cking drink and drive
Seriously, we will be so unbelievably angry. Do not ruin our wedding with poor decisionmaking. If enough of us stay at the Appellation, we will look at arranging group transportation. (party bus? no promises…)
